Acknowledge what the tools can do, where they are being deployed, and which tasks are being reorganized. You cannot regulate, unionize, redesign education, or build safety nets around a phenomenon you are still minimizing to win yesterday's argument. If you can see a significant socio-technical shift coming and your main move is still to sneer "parrot," you are drifting toward complicity by omission.
