Unpredictable Patterns #112: The tokenized economy

| |

By recognizing that AI systems don't just automate existing tasks but potentially reorganize the very categories through which we understand economic activity, we open new avenues for both theoretical insight and practical response to one of the most significant transformations of our time.

This was one of the more interesting things I've read in a long while. The reasoning here (in part based on human cognition vs AI as well as some theory on societies which both are a bit of uncharted territory for me) is about how humans make sense of the world, how that differs form artificial intelligence's "sense-making", and what that means when adopting AI. The way humans and society categorise and build systems are based on our cognition, but when technology allows for different kind of system-building there will be both new opportunities and friction.
